The Power Query Editor, where data is converted before being inserted into Power BI, has remarkable AI functionality. The first three are noted here: creating a column that adds a new column from the example; HTML download that extracts website data from an example. And fuzzy matching that combines similar columns. Power Query can also retrieve data from Text or CSV files using examples, as well as automatically search tables from Excel or JSON files. All features in this large group are designed for Power BI developers, but data scientists can also benefit from the tools in the Power Query Editor.

These features can be seen in the “AI Insights” section of the Power Query.
